“There’s going to be a new world order out there and we have to lead it,” Biden said.
On Monday, President of the United States Joe Biden spoke at the Business Roundtable’s quarterly meeting and told the crowd of CEOs that a new world order is coming.
Biden’s comments sparked a conversation online that has been prevalent among “conspiracy theorists” since the 1990s when George Bush Sr. first announced the advent of a NWO. According to a fact check article by USA Today, Biden was referring to the Russia-Ukraine war when speaking of a new world order, not a global government with a single currency and military.
“And now is a time when things are shifting. We’re going to – there’s going to be a new world order out there,” Biden said. “And we’ve got to lead it. And we’ve got to unite the rest of the free world in doing it.”
The New World Order has long been thought of as a conspiracy theory peddled by anti-government, religious extremists, which mainly belong to the Republican party. A new world order is by the common definition a one-world government, which critics fear would lead to global domination by a small group of people.
Biden said the world has been living in a ‘liberal world order’ since 1946, which led to positive results under the United Nations. Now, with Vladimir Putin invading Ukraine due to growing worries of UN interference in Russia, Biden wants the United States to lead the new world order. What does that mean? We have yet to find out.
