ISLAMABAD: PTI ally BAP has complained to Prime Minister Imran Khan for not resolving Balochistan’s problems since he came to power three years back, sources told Geo News Monday, as the political temperature in the country rises after the Opposition filed a no-trust motion against the premier.
The reservations were expressed during a meeting held at the Parliament Lodges between a BAP and a government delegation headed by PM Imran Khan, as the premier seeks the support of allies amid the no-confidence motion.
The BAP delegation was led by the party’s parliamentary leader, Khalid Magsi, a statement from the PM Office said, with Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, Robina Irfan, Sardar Israr Tareen and Mir Ahsan Reki also attending the meeting.

During the meeting, according to sources, Magsi told the prime minister that the no-confidence motion was a democratic move, which should be dealt with in a similar manner.
“Our party’s consultations are underway, we will decide soon,” Magsi informed the prime minister about BAP’s decision on the no-confidence motion.
Speaking to journalists last week, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed had claimed that BAP was “fully” behind PM Imran Khan.
In response to the interior minister’s comments, BAP President Jam Kamal Khan said: “Balochistan Awami Party takes its own decision, not Sheikh Rashid.”
Seperately, the prime minister also met a delegation of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) led by Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza.
The GDA delegation expressed its confidence in his leadership and the government’s public welfare policies, APP reported. MNA Ghous Bux Mahar and Dr Zulfiqar Mirza attended the meeting.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, and Special Assistant to the PM on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill also attended both the meetings.
